Dream Dancer Photography specializes in complete video and still photography services
for professional or private horse and pet owners. These services are as varied as the
animals themselves and are always designed to meet your specific needs. Our many years
of experience in both photography and equestrian arts makes us uniquely qualified to
showcase the true beauty and personality of our subjects. We take pride in our ability to
provide true service and excellence to our clients and friends.
Our Team
Dream Dancer Photography is owned and operated by the husband and wife team of
John Doggett and Nancy Ryan.
Nancy Ryan B.A.,R.N. :
Nancy owned her first pony at the age of 4 and has combined her artistic talent and love of horses ever since. She excelled in hunter-jumper and eventing and organized the first venue for the Trillium Circuit in the Central East Division at her facility near Sutton, Ontario. She has raised and trained horses and riders in many disciplines and was awarded the Ontario Equestrian Federation's coveted " Horsewoman of the Year" award; twice. Nancy is an avid photographer with an Arts degree from Queen's University in Kingston, On. She also indulges her compassion for people by working as a nurse in Toronto. When she isn't working or riding her dressage horse "Dean" or her jumper "Satin Girl" she usually has her new 12 mp Canon XSi digital slr camera to her eye. Oh! Yes this is the same Nancy Ryan known as a singer, songwriter, musician, and tv personality.
John Doggett:
John started Canada Wide Video Services in Toronto 25 years ago. The more his personal interests and business opportunities moved towards the equestrian arts the more the company specialized in that direction. After moving to Belleville, On.the name was changed to DreamDancerHorsePhotography. A freelance photographer, writer and marketing consultant John graduated from Loyalist College Advertising and Marketing Program. Past show manager, announcer , judge and all-round farm hand John now rides Western Pleasure and enjoys his role as "horse hubby ". When he isn't on the road or in the studio working on video productions or marketing plans for clients he can be found riding and fishing.
Nancy and John now live in Quinte West between Trenton and Belleville, Ontario, Canada and as always share their home with an assortment of critters.
Nancy and I are proud to support our Canadian Troops and our hearts go out to the families and friends of those who have fallen.
